Standing in front of the TARDIS, here is the first official image of Jenna-Louise Coleman as the Doctor's new companion in the hit BBC series. Little is known about the character, although more is expected to be revealed at this weekends Doctor Who convention in Cardiff. After being cast on Wednesday, Coleman said: "I'm beyond excited, I can't wait to get cracking; working alongside Matt I know is going to be enormous fun and a huge adventure. [He] did my audition with me. It was fun and I felt like we were in it together." The actress will first appear in the Christmas special.
