Apparently neither are the people who have made the series.

I've been a fan of, well, fan films for a long time, and I'm glad we'll be showcasing them over at Earths Mightiest.

There's a lot of fan films out there but I still think that 'Batman: Dead End' is the greatest... hell, even until The Dark Knight came out it was probably the best Batman movie made, and it was only 7 minutes looong!

@SketCh Dead End sure is a cool video, though when you think about it, there's not a whole lot of dialogue or any real story.

It's the effects, costumes and lighting that make it look so cool - but then the costumes came from the studios plus Collora had $30,000 to play with so it was always going to be amazing.

I feel it was an unofficial test by tptb to see how people would react to a much darker, grittier and realistic Batman - paving the way for Nolan’s vision.
