GLASS' Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed And It's Not Looking Good For M. Night Shyamalan's Latest

The majority of reviews are in for Glass and things aren't looking great for the Unbreakable and Split sequel. However, there seems to be one reason, in particular, for why that is. Check it out...

Split was hailed as a return to form for director M. Night Shyamalan, but the reviews are now in for Glass and it appears as if the movie will ultimately be certified "Rotten."

As of right now, out of the 36 reviews that have been counted, 13 are "Fresh" and 23 are "Rotten."

That's resulted in the movie receiving a score of 36% with an Average Rating of 5.1/10. As for the "Critics Consensus, it says
that, "Glass displays a few glimmers of M. Night Shyamalan at his twisty world-building best, but ultimately disappoints as the conclusion to the writer-director's long-gestating trilogy."

So, what's the deal with these negative reviews? Well, looking on social media, it seems as if the biggest problem people have with Glass is some sort of huge twist (which was to be expected given Shyamalan's love of them).

The fact that's big enough to ruin the movie for some viewers is very interesting and we can probably expect it to be very divisive indeed. We'll find out on January 18th what that twist actually is but for now, feel free to share your spoiler-free thoughts down below.

@Krav - I'm so tired of this "go watch the movie mentality". People don't have an endless cave of money to throw to movies. Sometimes they only afford to see a couple per year and they want to make sure they are well spent.

A movie with bad reviews is WAY MORE LIKELY to be bad than a critically acclaimed one. That's the truth. R
REVIEWS matter!

I'd give Rotten Tomatoes 36%. If you were ever going to go see it, go see it.

Considering his only good movies are Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Split, we shouldn't be surprised, plus what he did to

Nothing more vapid to base your decision to see a movie on than to rely on a bullshit review aggregator. He may have had some stinkers in his career but Im willing to suspend my reservations based on Split and Unbreakable, which were spectacular. Come on people.

@vtopa - I forgot what it's called. But there's a particular type of bias at display here. Where you ignore mounting evidence against something because you simply want to believe something is good anyway

@Vigor - It's called people letting a site like Rotten Tomatoes dictate their movie habits.

Let me guess, its all actually IN a comic book and its just a story being read by someone (probably in a scene in the Sixth Sense) or sommit more daft...

OR the mother who gets shown in the features, she's mad as a hatter and its a made up comic by her in her mind...
