Lionsgate Marketing Chief Tim Palen is the man responsible for these snaps, as well as the classy images from the online fashion magazine, Capitol Couture. Variety have posted a feature on Palen, and have also spoken to Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins about the movie's marketing.

“I’m thrilled with the work Tim Palen and his marketing team have done on the film,” Collins told the site. “It’s appropriately disturbing and thought-provoking how the campaign promotes ‘Catching Fire’ while simultaneously promoting the Capitol’s punitive forms of entertainment. The stunning image of Katniss in her wedding dress that we use to sell tickets is just the kind of thing the Capitol would use to rev up its audience for the Quarter Quell (the name of the games in ‘Catching Fire’). That dualistic approach is very much in keeping with the books.”

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22, 2013.
