Filming officially begins tomorrow for Disney's mysterious George Clooney-starrer Tomorrowland, which sees Brad Bird directing from a script by Damon Lindelof. In the meantime, we have another potential cast member for the movie. According to Deadline, Judy Greer (who previously worked with star George Clooney on 1999's Three Kings and 2011's The Descendants) is in negotiations to join the sci-fi film. As expected, details on her role are unknown. She will next be seen in October's Carrie remake and next summer's Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson are all on board Tomorrowland. Additionally, Lindelof has confirmed that he and Bird will both be present at D23 Saturday, August 10th to promote the film. Tomorrowland is set to hit theaters December 12th, 2014.

I don't hate on Lindelof as much as most people, but I don't have too much confidence in him either.

Bird on the other hand is a great director. His animations are second to none and MI4 was fantastic. If they ever make a SWTOR movie, him (Bird) and Joss Whedon will be at the top of my list.

She's sexy, funny and very talented. I loved her in that tv show she starred in where she played a teacher, I forget the name. I was excited about this movie until I found out Lindelof wrote it. Now it's not even a consideration. That guy has disappointed me too many times to let him do it again.

Lindelof wrote it? My nerd boner just went semi-flaccid. But Brad Bird, George Clooney, presumably sci-fi? Still at half-mast. Judy Greer can get it back up.

I agree with most the involvement of Lindelof causes great concern. But there's no denying that's trumped thanks to Brad Bird & George Clooney. The involvement of either of those two would've peaked my interest, but to have both guarantees I'll be checking this out.

I wasn't all together sure about what exactly this film was going to be about but after seeing the stuff at the "1952 artifacts" exhibit...I'm crazy intrigued by where they are going to take this...Walt was up to some messed up stuff in that box.
