The first trailer for Pacific Rim Uprising is set to screen at New York Comic-Con next week, but ahead of that we have the first official poster for the sci-fi sequel.

John Boyega shared the one-sheet to Twitter, and it gives us a new look at his character Jake Pentecost along with his Jaeger, which is named Gipsy Avenger by way of tribute to his fallen predecessor.

Pacific Rim Uprising also stars Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Cailee Spaeny, Rinko Kikuchi, Burn Gorman, Adria Arjona, and Charlie Day, and is set to hit theaters on March 23, 2018.

@Supercat6376 - Well let me clarify.. one of the worst I've seen in the theatre. Definitely one of the worst "blockbuster" type movies. The fact that I was at a press screening of it is the only reason I even stayed till the end.

@knocturnalzen10 - Some of the action stuff was well done and I liked the creature/jaeger designs, but that's literally it. Any time any character even thought about opening their mouth I was ready to laugh.

Movie 43, Catwoman, Transformers 2-5, The Last Airbender, Batman & Robin, Twilight, Wolverine Origins, The Brothers Grimsby, Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas, Oversexed Rugsuckers From Mars, most Happy Madison movies, every Marlon Wayans movie post-Scary Movie, every Friedberg/Seltzer movie ever...
