In 2020, Legendary Pictures will release the epic crossover film Godzilla vs. Kong, which is currently set to be directed by Adam Wingard (The Guest). While that's a ways from now, another actor has joined the cast of what will be the fourth installment in Legendary’s MonsterVerse .

According to ThatHashtagShow, the latest addition to the monster flick is one of the stars of the R-rated hit Deadpool 2, Julian Dennison. The young actor made a name for himself after starring in Taika Waititi’s Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and saw his stardom grow with his role as Firefist in Fox's superhero comedy, a growth that will undoubtedly continue with Godzilla vs. Kong.

There aren’t any specific details on the actor’s role, but it’s said that he will have a supporting role in the film. That said, we do know Dennison will be joining an impressive cast that includes Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Kyle Chandler (Bloodlines) and possibly Academy Award winner Frances McDormand, who the site claims was offered a role.

Godzilla vs. Kong is currently set to hit theaters on May 29, 2020.
