The King is nearly back as we inch closer and closer to the long-awaited debut of Mike Dougherty's Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will see the titular Kaiju square off against the likes of Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, a showdown for the ages that should only be seen on the biggest screen imaginable.

Ahead of next week's theatrical debut, Warner Bros. has released an awesome new final trailer with plenty of never-before-seen new footage as Godzilla fights to protect the world from the wrath of the three re-awakened titans.

The film stars an all-star cast that features Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, Aisha Hinds, O'Shea Jackson Jr., David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe, and Zhang Ziyi.

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Apparently, the person who made this saw the the time Godzilla got the MTV Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996.

Saw the film this past Wednesday at a preview screening. Liked it a lot. A ton of action. Left me and my friend almost breathless at times. Much better than the 2014 movie. However, you'll get more out of this if you're a kaiju fan. If you're not, then this will seem like a chore. But, if you're a kaiju fan, then this is a wet dream of action.

While that choice of song didn't fit as well as it did with Deadpool 2 last year the footage was amazing. Even if it may have spoiled how Godzilla will defeat King Ghidorah. :P

But I am definitely watching it next week!
