As we first reported on SFFGazette.com, tickets for Godzilla Minus Zero are now on sale in the U.S., and several new posters have been released along with a first look at theater merchandise that promises to be a must-buy for Kaiju fans (including a suitably giant-sized Godzilla popcorn bucket).

IMAX Early Access screenings are scheduled for November 3, so Kaiju fans will get to see Godzilla's return a little sooner on the biggest screens possible.

With 35 verdicts counted, Godzilla Minus Zero currently sits on Rotten Tomatoes with 97%. Godzilla Minus One, released in 2023, has 99% based on 213 reviews from critics, so it seems fair to say that filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki has delivered a worthy follow-up.

The movie's trailers have also confirmed that King Ghidorah will appear in the movie, though the iconic creature has yet to be revealed.

We recently learned that the Motion Picture Association has rated the Godzilla Minus One follow-up R for "some violent content/bloody images." Over the past seven decades, Godzilla has laid waste to countless cities, monsters, and innocent humans. That's a first for any iteration of the Godzilla franchise.

War reduced Japan to zero, and Godzilla plunged it into minus. In Godzilla Minus Zero, two years have passed since then, and the country has faced agonizing struggles to achieve recovery and finally reclaim its daily life. Just as humanity managed to cling to a hard-won peace, a new threat strikes, crushing hope in an instant. There is no third time. Everything ends here.

Directed by Takashi Yamazaki, the movie stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Jun Kunimura, Miou Tanaka, Sakura Ando, Masami Nagasawa, Min Tanaka, and Hidetaka Yoshioka.

Shot entirely in Japan as the first-ever Japanese production filmed for IMAX, Godzilla Minus Zero was shot with high-definition digital cameras certified by IMAX, and optimised in sound and imagery unique to IMAX screens. The globally beloved monster returns to movie theater screens, reaching greater and more terrifying heights, making Godzilla Minus Zero a true cinematic event not to be missed.

Godzilla Minus Zero arrives in theaters on November 6.

@LibraMattered -

Had to scroll down and see the full poster to recognize it as the snout and shoulders coming at the fog, but I swear, it looked like a monster grey thorny nipple at first sight!

Still does!

Godzilla Minus Zero getting a tie in popcorn bucket feels so detrimental to the quality and class of the first one. Save those for Godzilla XYZ Kong Megaholedestroyer or whatever.

@Vigor -

Serious question from a guy abroaad: what's the situation with the mail-in voting? Initially the consensus was that he was going to do everything possible in order to embargo those, but now I'm hearing that he's grasping at straws so that he's willing to take even those into consideration. What's really going on?

@TemporarilyHere - you and I have the same data it seems. Thats exactly what im hearing.

I personally don't trust mail in voting this cycle because Trump runs USPS. Perhaps introducing doubt was his intent all along to discourage people from voting

Either way I'm encouraging people to drop their ballots in drop boxes or show up at poll locations
