I did not take away anything political from the film and now listening to this guy drone on is making think again with his free healthcare rant.

Matt Damon's new sci fi action class envy thriller!!

No way i will ever watch that shit.

I am convinced that there is a certain portion of the Hollywood bubble that is actively trying to propagandize people on purpose.

Just saw this and I liked it. Fleshed out characters, emotional content and decent action. However, I would have also enjoyed it had I waited for a DVD rental.

I loved Elysium, thought the fx were the best I'd seen all summer. The CGI looked incredibly real.

My only issue with this movie was a horrible performance by Jodie Foster. aside from that it was a really good time at the movies and honestly my favorite movie from this weak summer at the movies.

Movie talked about 1 guy life. He was dying, he tried to save himself, but when he was on Elysium, then he got info that he won´t survive and instead helped others who needed healthcare on earth.
What is so hard to understand? This movie just shows 1 guy life.

Not all movies are about saving the world(James Bond, Avengers).
Elysium is kinda of movie just like (No Country For Old Men, Scarface) because in the end, they did not save anyone, it just showed a normal life just of 1 guy.

What a waste of good actors and budget, it's just an other random sci fi movie like oblivion. Good ambientation and premises, but a really poor plot and boring charachters, except for the bad guy.

I thought it was a really good interesting sci fi. I actually prefer this over 'Pacific Rim'. I mean this wasnt just a summer blockbuster film. It was creative or dare i say original.

I really want to see this film again.

Also the score for the film was amazing.

This classism message was so heavy handed it was unbearable. What ever happened to dialing down the message and telling your story? And as almost always Jodie Foster is lousy. How she gets passes so often is beyond me, but I figured in this role maybe she'd be okay, and instead she was distractingly bad.

Good film with minor, but blaring flaws.

Jodie Foster was Horrible in it. its visuals are great, but the whole political connection seemed lost in translation. anyways, its a fun summer movie, don't take it too seriously to enjoy.

How long did it take to fix your broken arm, Mr. Sunday?

Will you have to wait another 6 months to see a Doctor?

i liked it a lot! the weakest part of the movie, BY FAR, was Jodie Foster and her amazing interchanging accents. sooo bad.

VERY underwhelming and Copley was dreadful!

Really upsetting waste of money after all the hype -.-

The movie was amazing, the effects and story, when i first saw the Camera Tracking i fell in love. Copley wasnt bad, just hard to understand at times. but he was subbed for us, and the facial reconstruction well done, considering their budget. If Neil Blomkamp had 500 mil Budget he would do incredible things.

Movies should quit doing Trailer becouse people are anticipating so much, it would be enough with a small tease video or poster.

Blasphemy to put this and District 9 in the same sentence. Not even comparable.

I liked it well enough, but I wanted/expected something more, since this was Blomkamp.

Hopefully Blomkamp's next film will be a bit more like District 9.
