Duncan Jones will follow up Warcraft with noir-ish sci-fi thriller Mute, and we have the first official footage for you guys right here.

Set in futuristic Berlin, Mute follows a bartender (Alexander Skarsgård) who teams up with a pair of surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) to track down his missing girlfriend. The film is the second part of Jones' trilogy which kicked-off with Moon, and is apparently set in the same universe.

The full trailer will debut on Tuesday, but check out the brief teaser along with a synopsis below and let us know what you think.

Set in the near-future, Leo (Alexander Skarsgård) is a bartender living in the pulsing city of Berlin. Because of a childhood accident, Leo lost the ability to speak and the only good thing in his life is his beautiful girlfriend Naadirah (Seyneb Saleh). When she vanishes without a trace, Leo’s search for her takes him deep into the city’s seedy underbelly. A pair of wise-cracking American surgeons (Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux) are the only recurring clue and Leo is forced to take on this teeming underworld in order to find his love.

Mute will premiere on Netflix on February 23.

Big Jones fan after Moon [a classic] and Source Code.

Love the noir/sci fi blend. This looks like a must watch.

Didn't see Warcraft and have no desire to. But Moon and Source Code were damn freaking good, so color me curious.

Warcraft wasn't GOOD, but I didn't think it was as bad as people make out.

Looks like an obscure Blade Runner spin-off made to expand the universe (but that wouldn’t be a bad thing).

@SuspectOne - I think it kinda takes place in the same universe as Moon and Source Code
