A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth¹s dominant species.


Directed by Matt Reeves, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer. The movie is set for release on Memorial Day weekend, July 18th, 2014.

This looks like it will be epic. Not just because of special effects but the film itself. A great cast. I expect monster perfances com Oldman, Russell, Serkis and Clarke. This looks like Dark Knight level filmmaking

New is a bit of an overstatement here. There are 2 more lines from Oldman, but that's it, same images, same cut than the first trailer.
