Apple have added a brand new trailer for Sucker Punch, the upcoming fantasy movie directed by Zack Snyder.

Official synopsis:

Sucker Punch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary.

just surprise this movie is going to be a PG-13 since the tone of it looks like a R-Rated movie.

This trailer makes me want to see Snyder direct a CGI adaptation of the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, maybe with partial inspiration from the graphic novel Arkham Asylum as well. Of course, it would satr Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. Imagine how awesome that would be!

This looks FREAKING AWESOME!!!! I can only imagine how mind blowing Superman will be! I think we will be seeing a Superman much closer to the animated series/ justice league unlimited than the Reeve/Donner Supes. Which is personally the way I think they should go.

300, Watchmen and this all have the Znyder esque bullet time effects and are all shot in the same way (if you know what I mean?)
Do you think Superman will be done in the same way?

the guru guy in the latter half of the trailer reminds me of the osbournes' butler in raimi's spider-man movies. only slightly better.

snyder is such a hack. Its not his fault that he was over hyped after 300 but at some point soon everyone wil lrealize that theres not an original thought in his mind. Until then enjoy hoping for something that will never be... a GOOD snyder film with an original concept

to Cranburn^ i think it would give superman the look and feel its been missing.. maybe with a good plot some great action and have sup's throw a punch at a desent villian could be awesome... by the way all for routh and welling would be ok. but i would like to see superman have a lil more of an edge.

Snyder might not be Kubrick, but NO ONE equivalates to Snyder either. Snyder is an unmatched visual master the likes of which has never ever been seen or heard of before in Hollywood history, and that is exactly what Superman needs! VISUALISATION!!! Action and effects so crisp, clean and overwhelmingly spectacular to a point where your very eyeballs get orgazms!!!

Shaman - totally agree! His style is almost the live action equivolent of Japanese anime. It may not be to everyones taste but no one can deny the set pieces are nothing short of stunningly exquisite!
