Much of what Tom Cruise's character (Jack) knows in the film, turns out to be a flatout lie. One major revelation, is that the alien scavengers (scavs) aren't actually aliens at all. They turn out to be humans, lead by always wonderful, Morgan Freeman. Sure, they disguise themselves, resembling the Sand People in
Star Wars, but underneath the mask and armor is a human being. Heck, they even walk on all fours and use voice modulators just to conceal their humanity from the evil, all-seeing drones.
Well, come take a look at some alternate versions of the Scav costumes illustrated by artist,
Ed Natividad. As well as, designs of the Scavs' weaponry and vehicles, like a dog sled.
Tom Cruise stars in OBLIVION, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON: Legacy and the producer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one mans confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.

Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.
