There's been something of a mixed response to the first two trailers for Shane Black's The Predator, but fans of the sci-fi franchise will no doubt still be lining up for the ferocious intergalactic hunter's return to the big screen.

The movie doesn't hit theaters for another couple of months, but Empire has shared their awesome new subscriber cover which you can check out below.

The image features illustrator Chris Malbon's interpretation of a masked Predator and some of his grim trophies.

Expect the standard newsstand cover to give us another look at a live-action version, or possibly even the divisive "Hulk Predator" that was briefly glimpsed in the latest trailer.

this like that new terminator will most likely suck.

Well this one might be alright, the human characters look like the best in a predator film for a looong time, and that's what it needed, I just don't want to see predators in hospitals and neighborhoods, I want to see him hunting humans and aliens in space on space stations, and the predator homeworld, We have never gotten that, only glimpse, and when it went to whatever boring location they use to be cheap, it sucks, and the only good stuff is the stuff with the predator.

Which why I prefer this avp predator fan film that cuts out all the human shit, terminator is also doing the SW, and I cant wait to see that fall on its face.

@Kd666dash3dot7 - I grew up on these movies and they will never come close to the originals. Hell Ridley Scott can’t even make a decent version of his own franchise. Sometimes it’s just best to enjoy what we have and leave stuff alone.

I’m pretty sure Predator listens to reggae music 🎶 and smokes mad spliffs.
