Prometheus. After gaining a release date set for March 9, 2012 they got some competition.
Disney decided to move their upcoming adaption of the classic books by Edgar Rice Burroughs,
John Carter Mars from a June 8, 2012 to a March 9, 2012 release. This change in release dates resulted in a competetive opening against Ridley Scott's
Prometheus.
