When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organisation has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

One of the best movies in 2013. Very underrated IMO. And yes, Cumberbatch was awesome.

The scene where Marcus receives the message from London, he clearly calls him "John Erickson" not "John Harrison"

Cumberbatch occasionally hammed it up with over acting...

But that's what makes Star Trek Star Trek so I guess it worked out fine.

You guys bored today? I also have some blu ray extras I can post on here...

This movie is great. A bit of overacting I agree but otherwise a great film. Star Wars is in good hands.

You guys are high on something. Movie was one of the biggest disappointments of cinema in 2013, not just geek culture/comicbook films. Abrams and Kurtzman/Orci hacks had 3 1/2 years to write this crap? I love Cumberbatch and his performance, but there was no reason for him to be Khan (and I'm not even a trekkie!).

I wish I could make their kind of money redoing old stuff, ripping off preexisting films in the same franchise to make my script, while totally ruining something millions of people already loved. Well, maybe one day. Now JJ can make a Star Wars movie more like a Trek movie! "I have a bad feeling about this!"

No,they were not on the bluray,or dvd. Paramount screwed the fans over, again,by having all the extras all over the place, different vendors, online and so on. But some fans don't buy into their crap and are waiting for a proper release with all the extras in one convenient 2 disc set, lol! In the back of their mind they know they could've had just that little bit more money if they hadn't screwed up. Must be annoying knowing that, lol!

J-R!
