When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. Quito looks identical to Nimoy's Spock up there. Just thought about this, how interesting is Kirk's career going to be considering that he now has Pike in a somewhat mentor's role. Pike and Kirk really were separate in TOS.

The last pic is my favorite. Not sure if it's just the texture of the picture but it feels really like old-school trek to me, really TOS compared to all the other pictures :)

Nice find Josh! Although I would not call all nine action packed :) Cannot wait to see this movie. I worry about the future of Trek because most of its Box office is US and it seems the international market is becoming more of a factor. I hope I am wrong which I usually am since I was sure Abe would survive at the end of Lincoln

He was within Starfleet and has now turned against the organization and is hell-bent on revenge. He’s responsible for a very violent, horrific attack in London and then one in the States. He believes he and others were wronged and is focused on destruction. He’s an incredibly brilliant strategist who is aware of various truths that Kirk is not privy to.

The Rachel Nichols character died when Nero destroyed a bunch of Starfleet ships, including the USS Farragut, which the Orion girl was assigned to in the first movie.

@CaptainSpain TOS was always more Phasers than Tricorders. TNG was the series that really focused on the Tricorders.
