After the solid Search for Spock, the Star Trek franchise set out to do something different. With Nimoy still in the Director's seat, the Trek universe took to doing a time travel movie, where the crew of the enterprise travel back to the mid-80s to save the humpback whales. Just by reading the sypnopsis, it sounds like a disaster, but thanks to some excellent direction and screenwriting, this happens to be one of the better Trek films, and in my humble opinion, THE best. I can watch this film over and over and never grow tired of it. Its comedic timing and sense of urgency in its plot really make this a thoroughly entertaining watch. Full review below:

I'm not a huge Comic Book Geek, but the super hero movie genre has always excited me, and always will. I do not enjoy when people argue over CBMs like they're a religion, but i guess thats how most movie geeks are.
