Earlier on this month Lucasfilm registered a bunch of domain names to do with a upcoming project called Star Wars: Identities. today, we have found out what exactly Star Wars: Identities is.

Star Wars: Identities has been revealed to be a museum exhibition based in the Montreal Science Centre. The exhibition focuses on Luke and Anakin Skywalker, and their character developments throughout the history of Star Wars.

Lucasfilms Exhibits Manager Kyra Bowling said this in a recent press release:

"The Star Wars saga continues to captivate audiences who find connection to its richly diverse cast of wonderful characters, Star Wars provides a natural lens through which to explore the themes of personal identity and character. This innovative exhibition lets visitors of all ages investigate, in a fun and educational way, the factors and forces that help shape who we are as individuals."

The exhbit focuses on 3 major aspects: Character Origins, Influences on the character and Choices the character makes in their life. Lucasfilm will be using archive material, combined with scientific research to show audiences what makes Luke and Anakin tick.

Tickets are on sale now, at: http://www.starwarsidentities.com/ for a April 19, 2012 release.

So will they be using the original origins, or the retroactive fibs Lucas came up with after the fact?

This is an interesting concept but honestly who gives a shit.

No more star wars movies, no more animated series, CGI short flicks, prequels or sequels. please.

I remember a time when Star Wars was special.
Now Lucas has so over saturated every medium that I cant be bothered with any of it, because it takes away from the essence of what the movies originally were.

I kind of agree with @TheTank, they need to give Star Wars a rest, at least for a few years or so. Since the prequels, we've been getting a shit ton of star wars stuff, and it's getting a bit over done now. Although I would like them to make a Force Unleashed III, preferably one that's like 2.5 times longer than the last one.

Also, since Lucas keeps rereleasing the original trilogy with slight edits, why the [frick] hasn't he gotten rid of Luke and Leia's incestuous kiss in A New Hope?

video games are whatever, thats cool, the star wars games have been coming out even before the prequels, but around every other corner is another made for TV animated mini series or some other pointless horseshit that just waters down the story, sometimes things are better left to imagination.

The only cool things ever added to the series in my opinion were in the return of the jedi novel from the 80s. Because obi-wan revealed that Uncle Owen was HIS brother, that vader fell into a molten pit, and the dialog between luke and the emperor where Palpatine asks luke who completed his training after Obi Wan died, and upon learning it was yoda, he alluded that him and yoda had battled, and also made fun of the way yoda spoke.
