Yea...lol...the way the cannon unfolded after Jedi (books, prequels, etc) you have to wonder why Vader even needs armor.

With the way the Force is used in the prequels and animated series, Vader could easily clear out a room and walk around with a Force-field... Luke could have levitated Han out of jabba's lair without risking any of his friends.
