Vader sounds funny. Fans can vote on daily matchups between characters at Star Wars.com, and the winner will be announced on Tuesday April 9th. Here's how the characters stack up:



Who do you think will come out on top? I wouldn't bet against Vader, but Solo might be a good shout too.

On "reality" it would come down to Yoda vs Darth Vader with Vader winning. I think they're the two respective strongest on their side. (What with Vader being a child of the Force and all)

These brackets are TOTALLY skewed towards Vadar. Look at his bracket! He's got the easiest one out of any major character. The Jedi bracket is the toughest by far. Obi-Wan v Han and Luke v Yoda are going to be a 2nd Round Face Off? R2D2 v C3PO in the 1st Round? WHAAA?

Yoda does have a chance. IMO given the bracket. Yoda Vs Chewy in the Semis for the Light. Vader vs Palpatine for the Dark.

Also, this is clearly not just a fun thing Disney is doing to increase brand recognition. It's market research. WHICH CHARACTER SHOULD GET THEIR OWN SOLO-MOVIE CHANCE?

Yeah, Yoda's still my pick, but he's got the strongest bracket to get through. And absolutely! If Boba Fett could make it, it would be huge. I think he'll make it to Palpatine for the quarter finals, but will be hard pressed to beat him to face Vader in the semis.

Interesting, there is no Anakin. There should be an Anakin on the light side, because he would never beat Han anyways to face himself (Vader) at the end.

Yoda would run in a fight against most of this field. And Luke will whine if he gets upset. Personally I am voting Obi Wan and Palps as far as I can.
