It's Exactly One Year Until We Get To See STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

The official Star Wars Twitter account has posted a reminder that we only have one full year to wait before J.J. Abrams takes us back to the galaxy far, far away. Plus, we have this year's "Happy Holidays from Lucasfilm" Christmas card for you to take a look at.

Kylo Ren and his nifty new lightsaber there, reminding us that we only have a year to go before Star Wars: The Force Awakens blasts into theaters. Plus, Lucasfilm (via Star Wars.com) have posted their annual Christmas card, wishing a happy holidays to employees and fans. There have been many cards in the past, but this is the first animated one and I think you'll agree it's kinda adorable. It features a little Astromech droid who should need no introduction, and Chopper from Star Wars Rebels making paper snow flakes. Notable by his absence is BB-8 from the Force Awakens trailer, but maybe he'll show up in the director's cut. Click HERE to watch.

@McGee

LOL!

Well that is pretty sad that Sony caved in, but than again they must have had some really juicy stuff to release on Christmas Day.

Either the information they took and everyone posted was stolen information and I don't care how much these fanboys hate Sony it was not right.

And the cross-guard lightsaber may have sounded cool on paper but now seeing it in live action its clearly a VERY stupid idea.

Between Marvel, WB/DC, Star Wars, Jurassic World, and the rest, I have PLENTY of incentive to surround myself in a big plastic bubble so nothing harmful could possibly happen to me. If this North Korea thing blows up into WWIII, I'll be pissed.

Wonder if the peasants in North Korea have even heard about Star Wars.

The original Star Wars trilogy was made by the greatest filmmaker to ever exist, Kim Jong-Il. They were based on his personal exploits in thwarting the American imperialists plans for galactic conquest. The original prints were stolen by imperialist spies and given to George Lucas for alteration so America could take credit for one of the greatest cinematic triumphs of true Korea.

George Lucas later tried to expand on the work of the Eternal General Secretary of the Party, and was humiliated. It is obvious to everyone that he does not possess the skills required to achieve such a work of art. He attempted to return the film to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and be voluntarily executed for his heinous crimes, but the propaganda wing of the imperialist government, Disney, interfered.

Their spies stole the film, along with much technology from DPRK's advanced civilization. They kidnapped George Lucas who, unable to bear the weight of the shame of his terrible actions, committed suicide several days later. The CIA crafted deceitful propaganda that claimed George Lucas retired and that DPRK has food shortages and an unreliable energy grid.

Marshal of the Republic, Kim Jong-Un, may he live 10,000 years, will no longer allow his father's legacy to be tarnished by lying, unworthy and incompetent imperialists. In light of the recent victory over the imperialist United States aggressors, he demands that this movie not be released in theaters. Further he demands that everyone shall forfeit their copies of the illegally-obtained films, which includes George Lucas' plagiarized and far inferior prequel films.

There will be extreme consequences if these demands are not met. Our vastly superior military might will overwhelm any imperialist resistance and leak all your personal e-mails onto the internet. You will all weep as others read words that were not meant for them.

Long live the Democratic People's Republic of Korea! It is AIDS-free, the Shining Star of Socialism in the World and the one true Korea!
