We were previously led to believe that the Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer would drop last week, but now a far more reliable source is reporting that we will get our first look at Alden Ehrenreich in action as the iconic space-smuggler this Sunday.

According to THR, the marketing campaign for the standalone Star Wars flick is set to kick-off with a Super Bowl spot that'll air during the New England Patriots Vs. Philadelphia Eagles game - though they do caution that Disney has not officially confirmed this.

We are now less than four months away from Solo: A Star Wars Story's theatrical release, and a lot of fans are concerned that we still haven't seen so much as an official image or poster yet. If this teaser does hit on Sunday, let's hope it's strong enough to get the numerous naysayers on board the Falcon.

@KingNomarch - I'm with that guy. We already know how his life ends. And that's rather depressing.

Speaking as somebody who really enjoyed Force Awakens, Rogue One and Last Jedi, I gotta say... I am almost completely uninterested and unexcited for this movie

A [frick]ing STAR WARS movie.

WOW.

Lets be real, everyone is saying "oh who cares" but in reality millions are gonna see that tráiler and even more are going to see the film. The film still has star wars on its title, it will survive

@Saga -

Star Wars as a brand is losing interest, the over-saturation mixed with the poor handling of characters and plot-lines has left everyone with a sense of non-interest in future movies.

Amplified by a Han Solo prequel coming out at probably the worst time in terms of competition and in terms of the story, we've seen that Han Solo's journey was meaningless with him becoming a deadbeat dad, unable to fly his own spaceship and reverting to his smuggling routes so why would we care how it began?

Sure people will watch the trailer, sure a few will possibly see the movie, but i'm anticipating that this movie will be the lowest grossing new-Star Wars movie.
