Han Solo and Princess Leia's romance is one of the greatest in cinematic history, but today's Star Wars #6 (which is canon), a major new status quo change was revealed for the former. If you've been reading the series, you'll know that in Star Wars #4, a mysterious character was introduced who appeared to be a bounty hunter searching for Han (if you're not up to date, you'll find that page below). However, today's issue revealed her identity as Sana Solo, Han's wife! 

Further details about the character aren't available at this stage because this reveal came right at the end of the issue, but you have to wonder if Sana is someone we will meet in one of the upcoming Star Wars Anthology movies. What do you guys think of this change for Han Solo?

You know, I'm ok with this.

Episode 4 we didn't really see much romance between Han and Leia. Sparks here and there but nothing like in 5 & 6.

It is plausible.

Unwanted wife I guess. This may be part of one of his adventures, a shady dealing. Just like Wolverine was Viper's husband and some other examples.

Im on the fence, Ive been singing the praise of this series because its been able to maneuver in an excellent way inside the original trilogy without causing major kinks in the timeline, and while this could easily be swept under the table in 2 issues, i hope she is not developed into a major character...

on the other side of the fence to think the galaxies best smuggler who looks good in a plunging neckline with no t-shirt does not have a host of girls from port to port, I mean, he is a scoundrel... if Peter Quill can brag about all the aliens he has tagged, and he is in the spirit of Solo...

hence, the fence Im on.
going to be interesting.

Wait, so does this now confirm Finn Solo? And does the current theory of Star Wars: Episode VII being about Han's Children now confirm Rey Solo, as well as the theory itself?

This is why I stopped reading this book plus I wanna know what happened after Return of the jedi not stuff that happened between episode 4 and 5 (well the Han thing does make sense but luke meeting Vader so early that made me stop reading.)I guess old habits die hard I was like that with the books. Sure shadows of the empire was a great story but since it's set between movies I didn't feel the need to worry about the main characters.
