Star Wars Battlefront wasn't exactly disappointing but it didn't quite live up to the expectations of many fans. While the online mode was good fun, a single-player campaign mode was nonexistent and it definitely didn't feel like the game took full advantage of the Star Wars Universe (something which can probably be blamed on the fact that EA and DICE couldn't use any content from the new movies).
Well, that's all going to change with the sequel and this Starfighter Assualt trailer points to battles in outer space being truly epic as players get to take flight across a variety of different Star Wars eras.
Time will tell if Star Wars Battlefront II winds up being the definitive Star Wars video game but it does look like we could have something special on our hands here.
