The hype is building for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and it won't be long until we start getting reactions for the highly anticipated movie as screenings will start taking place over the coming weeks. In the meantime, we've rounded up every single officially released image to date, including behind the scenes shots from the "Skywalker Saga" finale.

You will have seen many of these on the site before but some have only just been shared by Disney, while others have flown under the radar during particularly busy news days here on CBM.

From more shots of that action-packed speeder chase on Passana to Kylo Ren and Rey's climactic lightsaber duel atop the ruins of the Death Star II, there are plenty of glorious shots here, almost all of which are wallpaper worthy (especially as we've got them in high-resolution for you guys).

The cast is starting to do press junkets for this movie, and they all seem completely checked out. I’m not getting any “This movie is awesome and will blow you away!” vibes from Ridley, Isaac or Boyega. Instead I’m seeing a lot of “Yeah, it’s a paycheck” kind of reactions in their interviews.

I like JJ Abrams but I think he's somewhat overrated. I don't understand the hate he's getting now personally. I enjoyed the Force Awakens. He literally reintroducing Characters that haven't been seen since 1983, while trying to build on new ones. but It is what it is.

All in all. This may go down as the most Hated, Disappointing Trilogy in history to fans. Damn near Ruining the Star Wars brand. This may fracture what people come to love about Star Wars so much, that it's going to turn in actual Superhero property.

Meaning they may say F*ck it & actually get a Nolan type director to "Reinvent" Star Wars and the staples of Stars Wars may no longer exist. Just filmmakers doing such abstract visions on the material. Just my Thoughts.

I really don't want him doing Superman & same goes for Michael B Jordan. Both I think are overrated, cheesy storytellers/performers. They both aren't as sophisticated as their fanbases & hollywood has lead them to believe.

He's like Kobe Bryant to Spielberg's Michael Jordan. Now that it comes to mind as im wouldn't mind to see Spielberg do it. Never gonna happen. Quiet as kept Spielberg is a dark filmmaker. He handles dramatic material so well.

I had a connection with Han Solo cause I always wanted to be that charming rogue asshole.
I had a connection with Luke cause I was that kid that dreamed about leaving and having my own life.
I had a connection with Princess Leia cause I always wanted to be brave and a strong leader.
I had a connection with Chewbacca cause I’ve always tried to cage that beast inside.
I had a connection with R2 and 3PO cause I can be a goofy smart ass.
I had a connection with Lando cause I’ve let friends down and tried to make it up to them.
I had a connection with Anakin cause I’ve fought hard against my depression.
I had a connection with Qui Gon cause I want to be calm and peaceful.
I had a connection with Obi Wan cause I tried hard at things and failed without giving up.
I’ve even had a connection with Jar Jar cause I’m goofy and clumsy.
But I have not had any kind of connection with any of the new Disney Star Wars sequel trilogy characters at all.

I really really hate the fact that everyone looks like they just stepped out of their wardrobe RV and onto set in these images. George Lucas created a 'lived in' universe full of dirt and grime and wrinkled clothes and it became signature to the Star Wars franchise... how could anyone not follow that who loves and lives and breathes the mythology as well?!?

@JonC - Yeah, Lucas once said waiting on CGI hair was one of the reasons he waited so long to make the prequels. He should have been waiting on CGI dirt.

The trailer looks decent, but that's fooled me twice before. I'm not sure I have the patience or trust to sit through another of JJ's Star Wars.
