The hero stuff looks dumb. I never bought the game for heroes anyway. The first Battlefront was the best and it didn't include the heroes as playable characters.

I'm not really cool with this re-imagining or characters. The Emperor never engaged in single combat on the battlefront. That's what Vader was for. That's what's referred to as a 'running dog'. I can see facing off with the Emperor on the Death Star, but having it take place on Endor is ridiculous.

If they hadn't completely [frick]ed up starfighter handling I would buy it, as it is now it can stay on its server/shelf.
Also the season pass is [frick]ing ridiculous.

"That won't happen again."

Haha, Boba Fett is so bad-ass! I love how the game took an immediate rebuttal to his ridiculous death in RETURN OF THE JEDI. I don't have a problem with Fett dying, but the way he went out was absurd! One of the coolest villains in the franchise died screaming like a coward.

George Lucas is undeniably a genius but character deaths aren't always his strongsuit.

Okay shit I have to say this @Darkknight2149 i'm sorry "one of the coolest villains in the franchise" ? How is Boba fett one of the coolest villains in the franchise, when the scene you are talking about was shown in theatres there was literally nothing to the character except for a well designed suit. A good looking suit does not make you a great character, and the additions made to his character in the prequels only serve to make the character less interesting. I can live with people saying Boba Fett is cool, because yeah... he is cool.

But people who say he is the coolest badass in the star wars movies, I'm like, "did we watch the same movie ?"

If you guys played Battlefront 2, you'd know this game's a Call of Duty reskin and no not Battlefield reskin.

And you got to play $120 for the full game. I'm buying Fallout 4 than this piece of crap that they're trying to sell on the name of Star Wars.

@dio - people like you are why they're cutting content from games these days and don't give that "people who want it, will buy it" bullshit on DLCs.

That comment is so dumb I don't even know where to begin. The original voice actor is 95 years old. There'd kind of be a noticeable difference. Also using the new voice keeps it in line with canon. That doesn't make it good.

While I did find this game quite fun i see that the amount of content thats being cut and shoved into a $50 season pass as disguisting and the game seems so bloody barebones and like theres nothing worth a full $60 game.

Never got the Boba Fett thing. He looks cool, that's all. Maybe that's one of those expanded universe things (which I'm not really into).

Also I found this meme to be quite amusing.

Boba Fett's voice though....they're all over the place with his origin. Which should just remain a mystery which is the major allure of this character. I'm a big Boba Fett fan, but good lord have they muddled with him way too much. But the game looks good. Loved the old ones.

No, it isn't the costume that makes Boba Fett such a fan favourite STAR WARS character. There are a number of factors that come into play as to why he's such an awesome character. It was his role in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK that caught our attention and it is his subsequent appearances that have kept his popularity alive.

I think a big part of why Boba Fett works is the mystique surrounding the character. You never really see his face and never speaks unnecessarily, which leaves a lot to the imagination. He may not have played the largest role in the franchise but he certainly played a memorable one. When he's on screen, he commands such a presence.

For example, throughout EPISODE V, Darth Vader was dropping bodies left and right. Anyone that even began to question the dark lord ended up choked to death. Yet, Boba Fett often talked to Vader in a threatening tone ("He's no good to me dead"; "What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to ME!") Vader doesn't so much as try to threaten Boba, and even assures Fett that he will be compensated for his troubles. As a matter of fact, when telling a bunch of bounty hunters that he wants Han Solo alive, Darth Vader singles Boba Fett out telling him not to disintegrate anyone (Darth Vader actually told someone else to take it easy with the killings!).

Not only can Fett threaten Vader with no consequence but he also has no trouble taking on Han Solo, a man who shot down a bounty hunter in the previous film with no warning, simply because the bounty hunter made a verbal remark to him.

It's what the film implies about Fett, what it leaves to the imagination and Fett's presence on screen that sparked Fett's popularity. We don't really get as much villains like Fett now because modern day Hollywood tends to be obsessed with explaining every single detail about every single character.

And I think Fett may be a little harder to appreciate now, as there have been a lot of cliched characters to come from Boba Fett. It's not uncommon to see Boba Fett rip-offs in comics, cartoons, TV, etc: a villain who has his face covered, is under-developed (not that Fett was under-developed), never speaks until necessary, has a deep voice and usually acts as a mercenary, body guard or henchman to a larger villain.

Then again, I can understand why Boba Fett never interested a lot of people. However, he will still be a favourite among many STAR WARS fans.
