THE DARK TOWER: The Gunslinger Duels With The Man In Black In Epic New Trailer
A new international trailer for The Dark Tower has been released which features plenty of brand new action-packed footage as Idris Elba's Gunslinger goes to war with Matthew McConaughey's Man in Black.
The Dark Tower is almost upon us and for fans of Stephen King's work, that's very exciting news indeed. Serving as a sequel of sorts rather than a direct adaptation, it's hoped that the movie will launch both a franchise on the big screen along with a small screen spinoff. We'll just have to wait and see if that all pans out, but based on this new international trailer, we can expect this movie to deliver in a big way.
There's not a huge amount of new footage here but there are some great shots of Idris Elba's Roland Deschain in action as he takes aim at the sinister forces attempting to bring our world to an end.
That's clearly going to culminate with a battle between The Gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey's Man in Black which is a lot more action-packed than the ones we got in the books. With Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters and delivering at the box office, Sony Pictures will hopefully start upping the ante with the marking for this movie in the coming weeks.
