Wayfare Entertainment's upcoming science fiction film 'The Europa Report' has a stellar (no pun intended) cast of Sharlto Copley, Michael Nyqvist, Anamaria Marinca and Asian star Daniel Wu. Written by relative newcomer Philip Gelatt, the script revolves around the first manned mission to Jupiter's oxygen-rich icy moon, and the motley crew of international space-station astronauts that are brought together by a private sector corporation for the mission. While details are sparse, Europa has often been theorised as a possible hotspot for extraterrestrial life, as it's molten core and possible watery depths are both elements needed for the evolution of carbon-based lifeforms. I wouldn't be surprised if their ill-fated team arrived on Europa to discover something new.

Welcome to Europa Ventures: THE WORLD’S LEADER IN AEROSPACE AND EXPLORATION! A site that at first look is straight out of the likes of Alien, provides what appears to be a video stream of the astronauts in a space station that is named EUROPA 1. Glimpses of the crew members can be seen throughout the feed.

With each click of the links at the top of the site, you are sent to a login page. After a few minutes, the feed of the video stops due to 'signal interruption'.

'The Europa Report' looks very promising. With a great cast and an intriguing premise, only time will tell if this will be the next big thing and offer something new to the science fiction genre.
