James Cameron answers this question and we have found out that 'Avatar' pre sale tickets are outselling 'Star Trek' pre sale tickets on Fandago!

Check out what James Cameron had to say when asked who would win, Navi or an Alien?



Also Fandago has reported that advance ticket sales are higher for 'Avatar' than what 'Star Trek' took in. Here are a few bullet points:

"72% indicate that the film’s positive reviews have increased their interest in seeing the movie.

70% claim they do not care about the film’s budget.

37% of men (surveyed by Fandango) plan to bring a date with them to see Avatar."

Looks pretty good for 'Avatar'! Hopefully the 3D tech works out for them as well. Early reviews are reporting that the story is pretty good. Time will tell.

I'm gonna have to go with Navi on this one.

I havn't seen Avatar yet, but in the trailer, it looked like it was hard to take on a Navi using a suit of power armor.

It takes an assault rifle to take out an alien.

Now that's not to say it wouldn't be a good match. An alien is faaasssttt and it doesn't look like the Navi would have much protection from the acid blood. :)

Just got back from it in 3D and at a prescreening witht the local radio staions and it was sooooo Frekin Cool!!! I even got to talk to an Exec from FOX and i told him that It was great! and it almost made up for that Wolverine Fiasco! He said and I quote "I know Right?!" My frined started crackin up as I proceeded to tell him that i was still upset about that. We all laughed and went home. Just keepin it real yo!

@Reiko- thay arent blurry! thats just it... its not the typical gimmecky 3D B.S. we have seen before. This type of 3D doesnt have Blurry Glasses... i know, i stole mine from them. Also the image does not come out at you much... instead ....The screen itself seems to be a whole that you are looking into that has depth and many layers. It is truly Brilliant. I cant wait to see Porn in this format!

aliens would maul them,hands down!.
went to see it 3D last night,looked good and was a good movie,but for me 45 mins could have been removed and the film would have been very awsome.
i dont feel that it took full advantage of the 3D side of things,i only flinched once through the movie,whereas the alice in wonderland trailer had me full on doging flying hats and big freaky cats lol

Alien would win easy... The navi may be tall and strong but the alien lay babies in people and multiply like crazy... And then the babies would be half navi half alien... Aliens are OP...
