The film has gone by the titles "Oblivion" and "Horizon," but currently there is no officially title for the film

In September it was announced that Jessica Chastain (The Debt) would be the female lead opposite Tom Cruise, but her schedule has become quite busy after having a breakout year. She has been nominated for several awards during this season, and it's put her in high demand. Well not to worry because lots of high-profile actresses have been auditioning their fannies off just to be apart of this film.

Variety's Jeff Sneider and Justin Kroll are reporting that both Olga Kurylenko, and Andrea Riseborough have landed the two female leads in the film. Olga is best known for her role as the sizzingly sexy Bond girl in Daniel Craig's second 007 film, Quantum of Solace.

According to Variety she auditioned for the same role as Chastain. Competing against Olivia Wilde and Noomi Rapace. Once Chastain had a hold on the role Olga was on the outs. When auditions started back up again in November after Chastain's departure Olga wasn't included in that process.

So how did she land the part? A inside source informs Variety, "Cruise had liked her from the original test, and though she didn't test again in November, she was still in consideration."

As for Andrea Riseborough, she is a bit of surprise. She hasn't been included on anyone's list. Nobody knew she was testing for the film. She is best known for playing Wallis Simpson in W.E., directed by Madonna.

PLOT - Pic revolves around a soldier stationed on a future Earth, the surface of which was destroyed by aliens. When he discovers a mysterious woman in a crash-landed pod, it sets off a chain of events that cause him to question everything he knows.

The untitled film will go into production in the first quarter of this year. The movie will be directed by Joseph Kosinski from a screenplay originally written by William Monahan and Karl Gajdusek. The stars Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko, and Andrea Riseborough.
