Official Synopsis:

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), a man once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the abandoned Flynn’s Arcade—that could have only come from his father—he finds himself pulled into a world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning digital universe—created by Kevin himself—which has become far more advanced with never-before-imagined vehicles, weapons, and landscapes and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape.

Tron: Legacy opens December 17th!

I don't know how Disney is going to be able to keep up their promotional output for this movie without giving everything away. It seems like there are new clips every day!

There are some visually stunning films that are far better in the theater than in short clips on the Internet . . . . Disney has to do a lot to get people to see a sequel 20 years after the original, when the original was not a huge success to begin with.

Bruce Boxleitner had a nice guest spot on "Chuck" as the father of "Awesome" with Morgan Fairchild as the mother -- great casting.

I agree with you that it seems Disney may be "over promoting" this film Brent. It sure feels like I have seen over two hours of clips and movie stills.

That first still up top looks like it should be a Pink Floyd album cover. Very cool shot! =D

@Local Man
It's actually been almost 30 years since the original. I remember seeing it in theaters in 1981 and playing the arcade games in the couple years following it.
The original should be considered the "grand-daddy" of CGI effects IMO.

Erick: Don't confuse a simple statement as being a complaint. Actually I could care less what they show on line. The point was that if they show too much it is entirely possible to convince people they have pretty much seen the movie so they may not pay to see it at the theaters.

@Hawksblueyes -- Has that ever happened, where people see too much and then they don't go see it? I'm just curious. Not a rebuttal to your statement by the way,
I just think it would be funny

This movie looks great to me, i really hope it wont disappoint. I plan to see it with my gf after all!
and to continue you with the debate of whether they are showing too much: i get the feeling that there is a lot more they havent shown that will really surprise the audience. i can hope at least XD
