Folks over at stitchkingdom.com have recently uncovered an internet domain called tronuprising.com. Speculation leads them to believe that it will be what branches the upcoming "Tron: Legacy" to the future animated series. According to them it will be the yet unconfirmed name of a 10 part micro series hitting Disney XD before the beginning of the shows run.
Now here is what stitchkingdom had to say about. WARNING THE FOLLOWING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE UPCOMING TRON:LEGACY, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
"TRON: Uprising’ (as we assume) will be a 10-part ‘microseries’ in which a young program named Beck stands up against an evil regime headed by Clu who obtains his status after the defeat of TRON, the security watchdog program."
Now remember this is pure speculation on their part and there has been no official word from Disney
