"Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim. A bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams...literally. The only catch to winning the elusive, mysterious Ramona Flowers is that her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. As Scott gets closer to Ramona, he must face an increasingly vicious rogues' gallery from her past - from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsome identical twins. I didnt think my local cinema was going to show it but they've updated their listings and I should be able to see it on Friday now! Still not sure whether it'll be my sort of movie but with Edgar Wright directing, I've definitely got to check it out!

well it is a tale of epic epicness of epic gayness and i ditched after 23 min and went to go see the expendables wich kicked would you prefer to watch a wannabe rockstar or get choke slammed with a knife by jason freakin statham i rest my case.

I hope it does well in the UK -- it's a shame the American audience didn't warm to it (bloody Expendibles). I saw it on opening weekend (in Australia) and loved it.

I saw Scott Pilgrim twice so far, this movie is great, I don't know why people are hating on this movie, the comedy was on point and the action scenes were done amazingly. Even Matthew Patel's song was great.

I watched The Expendables. It was a steaming pile of shit. Good only for comedic value watching the cast attempt to act. It was also one of the gayest films ever made. All these guys fist bumping and showing each other their guns. I'm surprised they didn't all have a big circle jerk at the end.

It's a shame though about the box office it's getting, or the lack of. Regardless the film was a blast!

@marsambassador yeah you have a point. If people gave it a chance they may really like the movie. I am a huge fan of Edgar Wright and can't wait for his next movie. Another thing I've noticed is people keep calling it a hipster movie, which could deter people from wanting to watch it. It definitely not a hipster movie.

and on a side note, i saw this movie and it was good. i really enjoyed how goofy and over the top it was. a pretty solid comic book movie.

Yeah never watched this movie yet but heard good things don't know why its failing so badly oh wait maybe because everybodys gone pale and cold skinned weirdo vampire crazy for some fagel reason, right to the point where they would watch some terrible vampire spoof movie. I myself quit watching that shizzy nizzle. Last one was scary movie 2 after that shit went to shit. Or maybe scott pil just started slappin the bass at a bad time during movie season but fug it. I have read the scott pil books and I liked them the only reason i started reading them was because i heard they were gonna make a movie but oh well [frick] the police.
