Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to hit theaters in just over a week's time, and Marvel Studios has begun to ramp up the promotion as we enter the final phase of the movie's marketing push.
Following this morning's trailer, a new behind-the-scenes featurette has been released which spotlights some of the "next level" action sequences fans can expect to see on the big screen.
Check out the video below, which also includes interview snippets with cast members Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Michelle Yeoh and Fala Chen, as well as producer Kevin Feige, director Destin Daniel Cretton and fight coordinator Andy Cheng as they offer an upfront look at a couple of the jaw-dropping set pieces which showcase a combination of "Marvel Studios’ signature action style and the mastery of martial artists from around the world."
Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers.
The next Phase 4 adventure will be with us on September 3. The review embargo is set to lift very shortly, so stay tuned to find out what the critics made of Shang-Chi.
