Another round of promo art for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has found its way online, and this batch offers our best look to date at the villainous Razor Fist (played by Florian Munteanu).
In the comics, brothers Douglas and William Scott took on this moniker and pretended to be one person after both losing one of their hands in a car wreck. They then clashed with Shang-Chi, and when William died, Douglas continued to work as a criminal, recently losing his other hand.
Based on what we saw in the trailer, this version of Razor Fist will be one of Wenwu's minions, which is probably what leads to him clash with The Mandarin's son after he flees to America.
"Marvel Studios’ 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios.
The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is set to be released theatrically on September 3rd, 2021.
