Earlier today, Warner Bros. released a new trailer for Shazam! and it was definitely a lot different to what the majority of us expected. The first teaser debuted during last July's Comic-Con and while we've had the odd TV spot since then, expectations were high on this sneak peek delivering.

Whether or not it managed to do that without showing the Marvel Family and Seven Deadly Sins is up for debate, but there were a lot of great moments and we're taking a closer look at them with these hi-res screenshots from the latest trailer. 

Zachary Levi looks awesome as Shazam and he's clearly having a lot of fun playing a superhero who is just a big kid. Mark Strong, meanwhile, appears to have been lifted straight out of the comic books as the villainous Dr. Sivana, and there's a very good chance that this movie will be a hit next month.

@knocturnalzen10 - I enjoyed the first three to various degrees, probably the 1st and 2nd about the same in terms of how good they were and then the third.

Saw bits and pieces of the 4th, was pretty stupid. The 5th one though, I never saw the whole thing but it was actually pretty decent (and I think its the most critically successful one), and it has a pretty awesome final scene.

Gettin a very hancock vibe from this but its cool, im sure we will get a final trailer a week or 2 before its out. but still, there is Justice league merchandise in here as well as man of steel easter eggs, but batfleck is out, no news on ray's cyborg returning, or cavill, so it feels odd.

I'll admit this trailer was a bit underwhelming for how long it's been talked about, but still looks pretty good.

I'm loving the tone and the feel of the film.

Maybe Dr Sivana has changed it up a bit since the last time I saw him in ink, but the powers he displayed are hardly lifted straight from the comic book
