SHAZAM! Director Shares A Still From The Movie Which Calls Attention To Some Monstrous Looking Statues

Director David F. Sandberg has shared a still from yesterday's Shazam! TV spot, calling on fans to take a closer look at some statues in one particular shot. Are these the villainous Seven Deadly Sins?

Yesterday's Shazam! TV spot contained quite a few awesome new shots, but director David F. Sandberg has now pointed out one in particular that he feels may have gone by a little too quickly for fans to pay much attention to.

When Billy Batson is walking towards The Wizard, some monstrous statues are visible to the left, and these almost certainly represent The Seven Deadly Sins.

These demonic creatures, also known as the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man, were already rumored to feature in the movie and were then seemingly confirmed by a quick glimpse of Shazam (Zachary Levi) doing battle with one of 'em in a recent TV spot.

The new trailer is expected to be released at some point tomorrow, so keep an eye out for these beastly baddies when it hits.

It goes by pretty quickly in the video I posted earlier so here’s a still with some neat stuff in it...

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Asher Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard (Djimon Hounsou). Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).

Enjoyed the first trailer and loved the tv spot. Especially with the Realty Agent enquiring about a lair. Looking forward to seeing this as I wasn’t too interested in seeing Aquaman.

See, they're trying to make the shared universe, but they need to start over for me to commend them on it. And I really really want to..

Not much of a Gary Frank fan, don't like his style.

He draws a nice Christopher Reeves Superman though

Seems pretty obvious that's what the statues are. Although... why is Lust always some pervert and never a ridiculously hot chick?
