SHAZAM Set Video Features The Hero In Action And Gives Us Another Look At Zachary Levi In Full Costume
Last night, we got another glimpse of Zachary Levi fully suited-up as Shazam, and now a new video from the Toronto set gives us a look at the hero in action as he saves a bus-load of people. Check it out.
There's still no sign of that official Shazam image we were told would be released before the set photos began to hit (it's a bit too late for that), but we do have another behind-the-scenes look at Zachary Levi in costume thanks to this video from the Toronto set.
A Twitter user filmed the action from his apartment window. The footage shows Levi suited-up as the DC superhero, seemingly saving a bunch of people from a bus.
It's shot from a fair distance away, but we still manage to get a decent look at that comic-accurate outfit as the actor walks away to restart the scene.
What do you guys think of this latest unofficial look at Shazam?
“We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).”
Shazam is set to hit theaters April 5, 2019.
