The upcoming Spawn movie is well on its way and fans are eagerly waiting to see the demonic anti-hero return to the big screen.

The creator and director of the movie, Todd McFarlane, recently shared a post on his Twitter titled "SNEAK PEEK at SPAWN MOVIE script".

It shows an image that partially reveals a scene from the movie, and his followers are having very positive reactions. Together with that, he reveals that there will be big news coming soon. Because there is still not much information on the new Spawn movie yet, it's possible that tjis "big news" could be casting reveals or plot details, or maybe some news on his other works, such as his proposed Sam and Twitch TV show. Whatever it could be, it's sure to get fans excited.

Excited for this. As a kid I liked the old spawn movie but I see it now and it’s pretty bad.

I was excited 10 yrs ago when he claimed he had a script. For now I just want to see a teaser trailer or else another ten years of script writing :/

When and if it comes out....this will still do better than JL at the box office.

If they take the same tone as the HBO series...this will be huge.

@NathanielExxex - I doubt it. I imagine this will be a very hard Time rated film, and Spawn doesn't have that big of a following. But who knows? IT made massive amounts of money and that film was pretty brutal as well.

McFarlane already said that there won’t be a full body shot of Spawn. We’re only going to get to see glimpses and odd angles of him. He WILL NOT be an actor in a superhero suit. My confidence for this is low. I think it’ll be so dark and so out of the box that it won’t translate to film very well.

Wow. This movie is actually happening. I didn't think he would ever get it off the ground. Of course, idk is scripting stage is any guarantee of anything. But still. I'm curious.

@SisterSunday52 - Todd's beyond the scripting stage at this point. He has a producer and production house and judging by his twitter, he already has some casting done.

I hope this movie defines what the mixture of hard horror and Comic Book Movies looks like.

Because New Mutants seems like setting a pretty low bar.

I am very excited for this low budget horror movie. I don't know anything about its story yet, but these designs I've been seeing of the monster look very outside the box.
