SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Concept Art Shows Off A Wide Range Of The Wall-Crawler's Facial Expressions
One of the coolest things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on Spider-Man are those moving eyes and in this new concept art from the reboot, we get to see all sorts of classic expressions...
In the comic books, Spider-Man's moving eyes were used as a way to convey emotion on static pages. It's since become something some artists use more than others, but never an element which has been used on the big screen. However, that all changed with Captain America: Civil War and it's something which will continue in Spider-Man: Homecoming thanks to Peter Parker's amazing new costume.
The concept art below has found its way online courtesy of @MCU_Tweets and shows off an array of classic Spider-Man expressions. The third piece in particularly should remind you of Humberto Ramos!
We'll have to wait and see how much these are used in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but the trailers have made it seem like it will be quite a lot. That's no bad thing, of course, but share your thoughts below.
Starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., and almost countless others, Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and will be released on July 7th, this year.
