Tom Holland has spoken at length about his audition process for the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but courtesy of MTV After Hours, we now actually get to see it.
Apparently Marvel wanted a sketch-comedy improv artist for the role as Holland tried on an English gentleman, a ballet dancer and a number of other characters to land the role. But it seems it was his Christian Bale Dark Knight trilogy impression that sealed the deal.
It was also his impressive display of comic book knowledge that probably led to Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige unanimously agreeing that Holland was their guy. "Justice Avengers, it's the one. Series 27, you should check it out."
