MORBIUS: Check Out A New Japanese Trailer For The Delayed Marvel Movie Starring Jared Leto

Morbius is heading to theaters next March after originally being set for a release this summer, and a Japanese trailer for Sony Pictures' Marvel Comics adaptation features a few new snippets of footage.

The first trailer for Morbius received a mixed response from fans, though the presence of Spider-Man: Homecoming villain Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) and artwork featuring the Sam Raimi version of the web-slinger certainly got people talking! After originally being pencilled in for a summer 2020 release, we'll now see the Marvel Comics adaptation in theaters (?) next March.

Recently, star Jared Leto (who has now wrapped reshoots for Zack Snyder's Justice League) shared a message for fans in Japan, and that's accompanied by a brief trailer for Morbius

While the footage is mostly from that first teaser, there are a few brief new snippets, and...well, if you weren't sold on the movie before, this probably won't do much to change your mind! It certainly looks like Sony Pictures will deliver a unique take on the Living Vampire, but it's hard not to be intrigued.

After all, Morbius could be the movie that lays the groundwork for that live-action "Spider-Verse."

In the movie, Oscar-winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.

Take a look at this trailer below, and click here for a rumoured breakdown of Morbius' plot

I forgot about this so easily. This is DEFINITELY a movie that needs to drop on streaming or VOD at some point if the delays continue.

It won’t survive.

Honestly would be fine with the next few CBMs all dropping on streaming. Eternals prolly the only one currently scheduled for theatrical next year I have any interest in

I completely forgot about this. I don't mind it if they put this out on stream though (same for Venom 2). I kinda only wanna watch this because Vulture is in it.

When you think about it, Morbious will be the first big movie of 2021 in march. Curious to see how this does at the box office.
Personally not that interested in this one but I might give it a go when it comes out.
