We had a feeling a new look at Morbius was imminent, and Sony Pictures has now announced that the final trailer for Daniel Espinosa's Spider-Man spinoff will be with us this Monday.
In the meantime, we have a "The Lore of Morbius" featurette which spotlights some new footage from the movie along with interview snippets with star Jared Leto, who suggests that Morbius will explore the supernatural side of the Marvel Universe in a way we haven't seen before.
Fans haven't been particularly hyped about Morbius (many feel it'll be closer in quality to the Venom movies than No Way Home), but a lot of people are curious to see how the movie will connect to the wider MCU (well, SPUMC), and Vulture's (Michael Keaton) involvement is certainly intriguing.
Check out the new featurette below, and be sure to drop back here on Monday for the trailer.
"One of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil - or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?"
The cast of Morbius also includes Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal,Tyrese Gibson, and Michael Keaton. The movie will arrive exclusively in theaters on April 1, 2022.
