Tickets for Morbius are now on sale, and Sony Pictures has released three new posters for the Marvel Comics adaptation. Putting the spotlight on the good doctor's transformation into a Living Vampire, they're certainly an improvement over the artwork we got for Spider-Man: No Way Home!
Over the coming weeks, Sony is likely to start pulling out all the stops to build excitement for a movie that's caused fans an awful lot of confusion since the first trailer was released. So far, we've seen hints that the film has ties to the MCU, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, and Venom, so it's unclear how it could be connected to the Spider-Verse.
It was recently reported that Morbius will have a 105-minute runtime, so it's clearly going to be a relatively breezy viewing experience. Venom: Let There Be Carnage clocked in at only 97 minutes, so that extra time will hopefully be enough to ensure Sony does the anti-hero's origin story justice.
"One of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius," reads the synopsis. "Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While it seems to be a success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil - or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious urges?"
The cast of Morbius also includes, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, , and Tyrese Gibson. After a number of delays, the movie finally arrives in UK cinemas on March 31 and in the U.S. on April 1.
