Tickets for Morbius are now on sale, and Sony Pictures has released three new posters for the Marvel Comics adaptation. Putting the spotlight on the good doctor's transformation into a Living Vampire, they're certainly an improvement over the artwork we got for Spider-Man: No Way Home!

Over the coming weeks, Sony is likely to start pulling out all the stops to build excitement for a movie that's caused fans an awful lot of confusion since the first trailer was released. So far, we've seen hints that the film has ties to the MCU, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, and Venom, so it's unclear how it could be connected to the Spider-Verse.

It was recently reported that Morbius will have a 105-minute runtime, so it's clearly going to be a relatively breezy viewing experience. Venom: Let There Be Carnage clocked in at only 97 minutes, so that extra time will hopefully be enough to ensure Sony does the anti-hero's origin story justice.

"One of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius," reads the synopsis. "Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While it seems to be a success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil - or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious urges?"

The cast of Morbius also includes, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, , and Tyrese Gibson. After a number of delays, the movie finally arrives in UK cinemas on March 31 and in the U.S. on April 1.

@DoubleD - I’m noticing a division deepen to the worst it’s ever been: everyone is going to the blockbusters and no one to the other films. Granted I didn’t watch death on the Nile but seeing as I watched the first one with my now ex wife and it’ll hurt my feelings to watch this one, ima wait a few years. But surely not everyone in the whole world is going through even worse stuff than me and would rather skip theaters altogether or just watch escapist blockbusters, right?

Right?

But I digress, seeing as I have taken my kids to the last several big films. Glad theaters are back!

@DoubleD - economy is booming but people have less money.
Inflation is at almost 8% and gas is at 4 bucks nation wide average. Here in ca I'm seeing 6 bucks a gallon.

The economy is struggling right now.

@AmazingFILMporg - Not for me inflation and gas are an inconvenience but not stopping from living.

No one want's inflation but 8% isn't shutting down the economy.

Problem is the economy grew and came back to fast. Record breaking 6.6 million jobs were created in 2021. Never seen in the history of the U.S.

@DoubleD -

Glad more people are working but the fact remains our money is worth less and wages are not keeping up with rising prices. Just saying
