New Spider-Man Filming Update
One user gives us some information about the filming of the next Spider-Man and another who had the chance to go to sets. But if it's true or not, you have to see.
A user "Nick" from the site On Location Vacations writes this:
''Columbia Pitures will be filming “Fionas Tale” at Taft Highschool on 1/05/11 and 1/06/11 from 6am to 10pm. It is located at 5461 Winnetka Ave in Woodland Hills, cross street Ventura Blvd. I work across the street and was served with a “Notice of Filming” from FilmLA inc. The permit number is F00034266. It says there will be a “HELICOPTER LANDING/TAKING OFF FROM EXTERIOR BASKETBALL COURTS, 7AM-10PM” There will also be atmospheric smoke effects, weapons brandished, emergency vehicles with lights flashing, exterior dialogue, condor and crane, picture vehicles, wetting of the street, and talent is thrown out of window breaking glass.''
And another user on the Spider-man reboot boards named 'White_Knight191'
stated that he has the chance to go on the sets of the upcoming Spider-man movie here it is:
''Hey everybody, I am in LA right now and I recently got a tour of the film academy here (in hollywood). The guy was kind enough to take us down into the backlot of universal studios where coincidentally 'Spider-man' was shooting. I asked knowing full well if there were any "movies currently filming here" and sure enough he said spiderman and took us down into the new york film set (as seen in the pictures in this thread before).
- There were no people on the set obiously
- He said one wall was hand painted
- He also said they plan on blowing up part of this wall for a fight scene
- There was a massive backdrop of the New York skyline around the set
- And Andrew Garfield has also done some swing tests
- It was pretty impressive, the amount of detail put into the set to be honest
