Tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home are now on sale, and Sony Pictures has been stepping up the movie's marketing campaign as we draw closer to its mid-December release.
We're anticipating one final trailer later on tonight (though that hasn't been officially confirmed), but for now, IMAX has debuted a new poster featuring Tom Holland's Friendly Neighborhood Wall-Crawler swinging into action as the city distorts around him.
The majority of fans have been left feeling a little underwhelmed by these posters, and this latest one-sheet continues the trend with an image of Spidey we've seen a dozen times before on promo material. It's totally understandable that the studio still doesn't want to utilize certain other characters that may or may not be appearing in the threequel, but a bit more effort would be appreciated.
Still, a few dodgy posters aren't going to dampen the hype for No Way Home, which will see the return of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx's Electro, and more.
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
The movie also stars Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, and J.K. Simmons. Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
