SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Star Tom Holland Says What We See In The Trailer Is "Just The Tip Of The Iceberg"

Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland has shared his reaction to the movie's first trailer, promising that we have "no idea what else is to come" after that amazing sneak peek dropped late last night...

It was a long time coming, but the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home was finally released last night. Despite an unfinished version leaking beforehand, the preview did not disappoint, and we've been left with a lot of questions about where the threequel is going to take us in the MCU's Multiverse (it certainly feels like we're heading "Into the Spider-Verse," eh?).

Earlier today, Tom Holland took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the trailer. It turns out he was actually in the air when it was released, and the actor was quick to tease an even bigger movie than the one that footage promises.

"I'm at the airport. I've been flying for the last 10 hours, so I didn't actually post the trailer. My brother, Harry, did, so I haven't been able to the reactions and how excited everyone is [Laughs]. I've just landed, so I turned my phone on, and my phone has gone mental. The love and support you guys have shown for the film is so exciting. Honestly, that is just the tip of the iceberg."

"You have no idea what else is to come," Holland teased. "I'm so excited to share more with you guys and it feels so good. It feels so good to be back with Spider-Man, to be showing you trailers, to have films coming out...this is so exciting. I love you all. Thank you for your support, and enjoy the trailer!"

We can't help but hope Holland is referring to a few other Spider-Men here, but that's pure speculation on our part. However, while this is unlikely to surprise you, Variety does appear to have confirmed that Willem Dafoe will reprise his role as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin...in case that laugh didn't make it clear!

Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts, meanwhile, has also shared his reaction to the trailer and poked fun at the way it initially leaked online in arguably the worst way possible:

@manofillintent1 -

Peter : "I need you to alter reality so everyone forgets about my secret identity."

Strange : "No one ever told you anything about great responsabilities ?"

Peter : "What ? No ! Why ?"

Strange : "Okay, then let's take the risk of destroying the realm of reality together. I'll clean up the mess later. After all, what is the worst that could happen ? That you and those closed to you get erased from this reality altogether to end up in an all new reality where the Avengers don't exist and where the Sonyverse monsters are everywhere around ?"

I wonder that if we're getting characters from other universes, if we're finally getting to see the Uncle Ben to Holland's Peter Parker

I feel like one of the Skrulls from the last movie, could easily turn into Peter Parker or Spider-Man, and solve the problem. But whatever.😂 I'm surprised that Sony Spider-Man nostalgia, is exciting to so many fans. But I'm also curious to see how they'll make the plot comprehensive.

This is looking like the first MCU Spider-Man movie that will have some re-watch value for me. Looks like a more mature story. Fingers crossed.

ROSIE I LOVE THIS TRAILER!!!

Anyway, what is the reason for Peter needing magic added to his suit in this movie? And is James Jonah Jameson a variant in this?

@Frshcoupe @Waddles - The reason is actually that it's a financial measure taken by Dr Strange to keep Disney merch sales strong

What we got was good, but they’re definitely saving a lot of stuff for the next trailer- which I’m already looking forward to.
