Spider-Man: No Way Home remains one of Marvel Studios' best movies, leaving fans anxious to return to the wall-crawler's corner of the MCU. Recently, we've heard that Tom Holland has signed a new deal to reprise the role of Peter Parker, while we've even seen possible story details surface for his next trilogy.
Whether the web-slinger really will battle the Kingpin of Crime alongside Daredevil and eventually don the alien costume remains to be seen, but we may have a solid update on Spider-Man 4 for you.
According to The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez, pre-production on the movie has started ramping up, likely meaning a script is in place and concept art is being created. That's speculation on our part, but as you can see from the Tweet below, things are certainly starting to look good for the upcoming sequel.
It's unclear whether Jon Watts would return to direct after devoting so much time to that first trilogy. He passed on Fantastic Four in order to take a break from the MCU and is currently working on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew for Disney+.
As for Sony making any sort of announcement at next month's Comic Con Experience event in Brazil, it was confirmed yesterday evening that they won't be in attendance. Still, we do wonder if the studio could choose the one-year anniversary of Spider-Man: No Way Home to make an announcement!
